Chicken Dry Fry

  1. Chicken: 900 gms
  2. Onion: 1 medium
  3. Green Chilli: 2 nos
  4. Ginger: 1 inch piece
  5. Garlic: 5 cloves
  6. Garam masala powder: ½ tsp
  7. Pepper powder: 1 tsp (as per taste)
  8. Salt: needed
  9. Curry leaf: 1 string
  10. Coconut oil: 5 tbsp
Method of Preparation:
  • Cut chicken into medium sized pieces, Wash and drain.
  • Grind all other ingredients except curry leaf and coconut oil into a smooth paste.
  • Marinate chicken with the grinded paste for at least half an hour.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in a khadai, add the marinated chicken to it and stir well in full flame for about 2 minutes.
  • Closed the lid and low the flame. Cook the chicken until done.
  • If there is more gravy, put in full flame and stir well till dry fry.
  • Add 1 tbsp coconut oil, curry leaf and switch off the flame.
