Pasta in white sauce

  1. Pasta: 1 cup
  2. Onion: 1 big
  3. Chicken sausage: 1
  4. Mixed vegetables: ½ cup
  5. Butter: 2 tbsp
  6. Salt: needed
  7. Grated cheese: for topping
For white sauce:
  1. Butter: 1 tbsp
  2. Flour: 1 tsp
  3. Milk: 1 cup (or as per consistency)
  4. Salt: needed
  5. Pepper powder: to taste
Method of Preparation:
  • For white sauce, heat butter in pan, add flour and stir well, then add milk little by little to it. Whisk with a ladle till the paste is smooth. (If too thick add some more milk to get the consistency). Add salt and pepper powder.
  • Cook pasta in enough water till it is done. Drain water and keep aside.
  • In pan heat butter, sliced onion sauté for a minute, then add mixed vegetables and sliced sausage. Cook till vegetable is done.
  • Add prepared white sauce and cooked pasta to it. Stir well for a minute.
  • Add grated cheese over it.
  • Pasta in white sauce is ready to serve.
