Special Fish Fry

To eat is a necessity but to eat intelligently is an art. Whenever we enter the kitchen will think to make unique dish by adding some ingredients more to it. Today’s lateral thinking is succeeded on a fish fry. It came out well with great taste.
  1. Fish : ½ kg (Sliced fish)
  2. Chilli powder: 1 tsp
  3. Red food color: 1 pinch (optional)
  4. Lemon juice: ¾ tsp
  5. Curd (yoghurt): 1 tsp
  6. Green chilli: 1
  7. Ginger: ¼ inch piece
  8. Garlic: 3 cloves
  9. Shallots: 4 (optional)
  10. Coriander leaf: 2 strings
  11. Curry leaf: I string
  12. Garam masala: ½ tsp
  13. Cummin seeds: ½ tsp
  14. Salt: needed
  15. Oil: for shallow frying
Method of Preparation:
  • Wash and drain fish, keep aside till we prepare marination.
  • Grind all the ingredients except oil and fish to a smooth paste.
  • Marinate the fish and leave at least for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a non- stick frying pan and put the marinated fish. Cook on both sides until done.
  • Serve hot with rice or chappathi.
