Parippu Curry/ Dal Curry

  1. Dal/Parippu: 1 cup
  2. Onion: 1
  3. Tomato: Half of 1 tomato
  4. Green Chilli: 1
  5. Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
  6. Chilli powder: ¾ tsp
  7. Salt: needed
  8. Oil: 2 tsp
  9. Mustard Seeds: ¼ tsp
  10. Curry leaves: few
  11. Dry red Chilli: 2

Method of Preparation

Cook Parippu by adding onion, tomato, green chilli, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and enough water.

When it is cooked well and the gravy is slightly thick switch off the flame.

Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, add red chilli and curry leaf

Transfer this to prepared parippu curry.
