Ingredients
- White Bread: 4 slices
- Gram Flour: 1 cup
- Rice flour: 2tsp
- Salt: needed
- Asafetida: a pinch
- Cumin Seeds: ¼ tsp
- Onion chopped: 2tbsp
- Green chilli chopped: 1 tsp
- Curry leaves: few
- Ginger chopped: 1 tsp
- Oil: for deep frying
Method of Preparation
- Cut each slice of bread into 3 equal parts.
- Mix gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida and make a batter by adding required water; consistency should be of dosha batter.
- Add cumin seeds, onion, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves to the prepared batter. And stir well
- Heat oil in a pan, dip each slice of bread in the batter and deep fry in oil, till both sides turns slight brown colour.
- Serve hot with tea.
