Ingredients
- Chemb/ Yam: ½ kg
- Tamarind Pulp: ¼ cup
- Turmeric Powder: ¼ tsp
- Chilli Powder: ½ tsp
- Salt: needed
- Oil: 2tsp
- Mustard Seeds: ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves: few
Method of Preparation
- Clean and cut the yam.
- Cook Yam by adding turmeric powder, chilli powder and enough water.
- When yam gets cooked add tamarind pulp and salt. Cook till the gravy comes thick.
- Switch off the flame.
- Heat oil in a pan; splutter mustard seeds and curry leaf.
- Pour this to the prepared masala.
- Serve hot with rice.
