  1. Rice Flour: 1 cup
  2. Hot water: ¾ - 1 cup (or as required)
  3. Salt: needed
  4. Coconut grated: ½ cup (optional)
  5. Oil: needed
Method of Preparation:
·        Knead the rice flour with hot water by adding salt to smooth dough.
·        Apply some oil on to the dough.
·        Fill the dough into the idiyappam press and press it directly into the greased idli pan.
·        Steam for 5-10 minutes.
·        Add the grated coconut to the prepared idiyappams.
