Bread Pakora

  1. White Bread: 4 slices
  2. Gram Flour: 1 cup
  3. Rice flour: 2tsp
  4. Salt: needed
  5. Asafetida: a pinch
  6. Cumin Seeds: ¼ tsp
  7. Onion chopped: 2tbsp
  8. Green chilli chopped: 1 tsp
  9. Curry leaves: few
  10. Ginger chopped: 1 tsp
  11. Oil: for deep frying
Method of Preparation
  • Cut each slice of bread into 3 equal parts.
  • Mix gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida and make a batter by adding required water; consistency should be of dosha batter.
  • Add cumin seeds, onion, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves to the prepared batter. And stir well
  • Heat oil in a pan, dip each slice of bread in the batter and deep fry in oil, till both sides turns slight brown colour.
  • Serve hot with tea.
