Ingredients
Black Eyed Beans/ Vellapayar: 1 cup
Green chilli: 4
Onion: 1
Ginger: 1” piece
Curry leaves: few
Baking Powder: ¼ tsp
Salt: needed
Oil: for frying
Method of Preparation
Soak vellapayar for 4 hours.
Wash and grind to a rough paste without adding water.
Chop onion, green chilli, ginger and curry leaves.
Add this to the vellapayar paste together with salt and baking powder.
Mix well and take a small ball from it and flatten a little.
Make like this with the whole paste and deep fry each vada till golden brown or till done.
