French beans chopped: 2 cups
Dry red chilli: 4
Coconut grated: ¼ cup
Garlic cloves: 2 (optional)
Ginger: very small piece
Mustard seeds: few
Method of Preparation
Heat oil in a pan; add mustard seeds to it, when it splutters add chopped shallots, when it turns brown add the chopped beans and salt.
Close with a lid and put in low flame. Stir in between.
Meanwhile grind the coconut into coarse paste by adding roasted dry red chilli, ginger and garlic.
When the bean is cooked or after 4 minutes you will get the beans cooked, add the coarsely grinded coconut paste.
Stir well for a minute and switch off the flame.
Tips: Don’t overcook vegetables, some of the nutritious value of some vegetables will be lost if overcooked.
