Ingredients
Rice Flour: 2 cups
Grated coconut: ¾ cup
Cumin seeds: 2 tbsp
Shallots: 10
Salt: needed
Oil: for deep fry
Water: 2 cups
Method of Preparation
Heat water by adding salt to it, when it boils, add rice flour and simmer the flame and stir well for 2 minutes.
Switch off the flame.
When it slightly cools add grated coconut, cumin seeds and chopped shallots.
Take time and knead it to very smooth dough. Divide the dough into 2-3 balls.
Take each ball and roll into almost 1” pathiri/chappathi. Take a glass or anything with which you could cut into many small round pathiris.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these small pathiris in oil in low flame till it turns slight brown colour.
Serve hot with chicken curry or any curry of your choice.
