Banana Nest

Ingredients
Banana/ Plantain Ripe: 2
Coconut Grated: ½ cup
Sugar: 4-5 tbsp
Semiya/ Vermicelli: needed
Cardamom Powder: ¼ tsp
Oil: for deep frying
Method of Preparation
Steam/ Cook the plantain till done. (Plantain should be ripe enough but not too over ripe)
Mash it well with hand.
Add grated coconut, cardamom powder and sugar to it. Mix well with hand.
Make small balls from it, roll it in semiya and flatten a bit and make a thumb impression at the middle. Press well so that the semiya will stay on it. (If semiya is not coating on the banana you can use beaten egg or thin maida batter, for me I didn’t use any of them, it coated itself)
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry till the semiya becomes golden brown.
A crunchy snack is ready to serve.
In my opinion this is the best snack that u could make with plantain.
