Fish Cutlet

Here is one more recipe from my sweet sister. Her interest for sending me the recipes makes me more dedicated. Whenever we talk each other the discussion comes mainly on blogging topic more than regarding our family. Try it; I am sure that you will like it. Now she has gone back to the hostel after vacation and we have to wait may be 1 or 2 months to get another delicious recipe from her. She has used thin maida batter to roll the fish cutlet before rolling in bread crumps; you can use egg instead of maida batter.
Ingredients
Fish: 2 cups (fish boiled with salt and turmeric powder, remove the bones and mash with hand)
Onion: 1
Ginger finely chopped: ½ tsp
Garlic finely chopped: ½ tsp
Green chilli finely chopped: 3
Curry leaves, finely chopped: 3tbsp
Turmeric powder: a pinch
Chilli powder: ¼ tsp
Maida: 1 tbsp (add 5-6tbsp water to it and make very thin batter; or you can use 1egg instead of this)
Bread crumps: needed
Oil: 2 tbsp
Oil: for deep frying
Method of Preparation
Heat 2tbsp oil in a pan add chopped ginger and garlic pieces, stir for a while
Add chopped onion and green chilli.
When onion turns light brown, add turmeric powder and chilli powder
Sit for a minute and add curry leaves and fish kheema.
Close with a lid and keep in low flame for 3-4 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
Take a small ball from the fish mix, roll it into oblong shape.
Roll this in thin maida batter and bread crumps. Repeat the process till the fish mix is completed.
Deep fry in oil till golden brown.
Serve hot with tea.
