Homemade Tomato Ketchup



Ingredients
Red Tomatoes – 2 ½ kg
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 200gm
Vinegar – 1 cup
Salt – 1 ½ tsp or as needed
Method Of Preparation
Wash tomatoes, then roughly chop and cook in a pan, without water for 15 minutes. Then let it cool down and blend. Now add this puree in a pan, along with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, sugar, vinegar, salt, let it cook until thick paste. When it’s done, let it cool down. Fill dry and clean bottles. Use whenever you want.

I remember my mother preparing tomato ketchup at home when we were kids...but I've never tried it myself...Nice recipe.
