Potato: 1 big
Carrot: 1 big
Kovakka/Ivy Gourd: 10
Tomato: 1 big
Arabic Spice Mix: 1tbsp
Pepper Powder: 1tsp
Dried Lemon: 1
Garam Masala: ½ tsp
Vegetable Masala: 1tsp (optional)
Maggi Vegetable cubes/Chicken Cubes: 1
Salt: if needed
Coriander leaves/Parsley: 1 string
Method Of Preparation
Peel and cut potato, carrot, onion, tomato and kovakka in big pieces. (just into 3-4 pieces)
In a pan add the chopped vegetables, chicken/vegetable cubes, vegetable spice mix, Arabic spice mix, pepper powder and garam masala. Add salt only if needed.
Then add the dried lemon pieces and needed water.
Keep on flame with the lid closed.
Let the vegetable cook, be careful not to overcook the vegetables.
When the vegetables get cooked switch off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves/Parsley to it.
Serve hot with chappathi/roti.
