Chicken Chukka

Ingredients
Chicken: 900gms
Onion: 3
Chilli powder Kashmiri: 2 ½ tbsp.
Turmeric powder: 1tsp
Garam masala: 1tsp
Pepper powder: 1tbsp
Salt: needed
Lemon Juice: 2tbsp
Coconut oil: 6tbsp, 1tbsp
Curry leaves: needed

Method Of Preparation
Cut the chicken into small pieces. Wash and drain.
Heat 6tbsp oil in a pan and golden fry thinly chopped onion and take out from the oil. Keep aside.
In a bowl add chicken pieces, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt, lemon juice and 1tbsp coconut oil.
Marinate for 2 hours.
At the time of frying add the fried onion and curry leaves to the marinated chicken and stir well.
Heat oil in a pan, (you can use the same oil which you fried the onion), add the marinated chicken to the oil.
Lower the flame to medium and stir occasionally till you get the chicken done.
Note: Do not close with a lid at the time of frying. Don’t add more oil. You can add chopped coriander leaves at the time of serving.
