Chicken:
900gms
Onion:
3
Chilli
powder Kashmiri: 2 ½ tbsp.
Turmeric
powder: 1tsp
Garam
masala: 1tsp
Pepper
powder: 1tbsp
Salt:
needed
Lemon
Juice: 2tbsp
Coconut
oil: 6tbsp, 1tbsp
Method Of Preparation
Cut the chicken into small
pieces. Wash and drain.
Heat 6tbsp oil in a pan
and golden fry thinly chopped onion and take out from the oil. Keep aside.
In a bowl add chicken
pieces, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt,
lemon juice and 1tbsp coconut oil.
Marinate for 2 hours.
At the time of frying add
the fried onion and curry leaves to the marinated chicken and stir well.
Heat oil in a pan, (you
can use the same oil which you fried the onion), add the marinated chicken to
the oil.
Lower the flame to medium
and stir occasionally till you get the chicken done.
Note: Do not close with a
lid at the time of frying. Don’t add more oil. You can add chopped coriander
leaves at the time of serving.
