Ingredients
Wheat Flour: 1 ½ cups
Yeast: 1tsp
Milk Powder: ¼ cup
Sugar: 1tbsp
Salt: needed
Warm milk: 1 ¼ cup (or as needed to make dough)
Butter: for brushing
Method of Preparation
In a bowl add yeast sugar and ¾ cup warm milk. Keep it aside for 10 minutes till it ferment.
In another bowl add wheat flour, milk powder and salt. Add in the yeast mix to it and needed milk to it and knead to make smooth dough.
Take time and knead the dough so as to get it very smooth. (While kneading add enough milk, don’t make the dough hard, if the dough becomes hard the roti also will go hard.)
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 2 hours or till it double the size.
Take small balls from it flatten it to a ½” thick roti of round shape.
Prick the roti with a knife or fork. Brush butter on top.
Do the same process with the rest dough.
Bake at 1800C to about 10-12 minutes or till you get it done.
Brush with butter after done and serve hot.
