Red Chammanthi/ Chutney


Ingredients
Coconut: ½ cup
Urad Dal: 1tbsp
Kadala parippu/Chana daal: 1tbsp
Garlic cloves: 2 big
Kashmiri Dry Red Chilli: 4 (as per your tolerance)
Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 1tsp
Tamarind: 1” piece
Salt: needed
Oil: 1tbsp
Method of Preparation
Heat oil in a pan; add in chana daal and urad daal. Stir for a minute.
Add dry red chilli and garlic cloves.
Stir for a minute and add coconut and tamarind and stir for a while.
Add chilli powder and salt and switch off the flame.
When it cools a bit, grind to smooth paste in a blender by adding little water.
