Ingredients
Cabbage chopped: 1 cup

Onion chopped: 4 tbsp
Green chilli chopped: 3
Carrot chopped: ¼ cup
Curry leaves chopped: few
Coriander leaves chopped: few
Bread Crumbs: needed
Egg: 1 (optional) (Can use light maida batter to coat instead of egg, I used Maida batter)
Oil: for deep frying.
Salt: needed
Method of Preparation
In a bowl add cabbage, onion, green chilli, carrot, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and mashed potato.
Knead well with the hand and make small balls from it and flatten it a bit.
In a bowl add bread crumbs and in another bowl take egg and beat well.
Heat oil in a pan; Dip each ball in the egg or maida batter and roll in bread crumbs.
Deep fry in oil till both sides becomes golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup or any of your favorite dip.
This is our family favorite snack, which my mom used to make during our school days. I think so not only the keralites but this cutlet is done through out the southern states of India.
