Ingredients
Coconut Grated: 2 cups
Kadalaparippu/ Chana Daal: 3tbsp
Urad Daal: 2tbsp
Coriander seeds: 1tsp
Dry red Chilli: 15 (as per your tolerance)
Shallots: 5
Ginger chopped: 2tbsp
Black pepper corns: ½ tsp
Curry leaves: 5strings
Tamarind: 2” piece
Salt: to taste
Method of Preparation
Heat a wide non stick pan, add all the ingredients to it except tamarind.
Dry roast it in very low flame till it is roasted well. It will take around 25-30 minutes.
When it cooled slightly, grind to powder by adding tamarind.
Serve with dosha, idli or rice…
