Kadala Fry


Ingredients

Kadala(Black ) {chick peas}: 1 cup

Onion: 1

Green Chiili: 3

Coriander powder: ¼ tsp

Garam masala: ¼ tsp

Oil: 2tsp

Salt: needed

Coriander leaf: few

Method of Preparation

Soak chick peas overnight.

Pressure cook the soaked chick peas, by adding enough water and salt.

Drain and keep aside.

Chop onion into small pieces.

Heat oil in a pan; add half of the chopped onion, sauté well.

Add coriander powder and garam masala, stir for 1 minute and add the cooked kadala.

Stir for 2minutes and switch off the flame.

Garnish with coriander leaves, chopped green chilli and the balance chopped onion.
